Rod has over 30 years industry experience, starting his career with Unocal where he spent 16 years in various planning and financial roles before moving into the oil services sector where he has held senior sales, business development, marketing and managerial positions

Commenting on his appointment, Rod Starr, CEO Polarcus, said: "I am delighted to be appointed as Polarcus' new CEO and very excited to be joining such a progressive company. Rod has over 30 years industry experience, starting his career with Unocal where he spent 16 years in various planning and financial roles before moving into the oil services sector where he has held senior sales, business development, marketing and managerial positions. Prior to joining Polarcus, Rod worked for TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company where he held several senior management positions worldwide, most recently as senior vice president, Western Hemisphere.

Rod holds a degree in Business/Finance from San Diego State University in the USA.
