Petrobras plans to install 13 new FPSOs in blocks Block BM-S-9 and BM-S-11 by 2017, located between 200 to 300 kilometres off the Brazilian coast
Located in the Santos Basin pre-salt area offshore Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this unit will produce 180,000 barrels of oil and seven million cubic metres per day of gas.
Technip’s operating centre in Rio de Janeiro is performing the project management, engineering and procurement.
The 24,000-ton modules fabrication, integration and commissioning will be performed in Techint’s yard (Technip’s joint-venture partner), in the south of Brazil.
The project is scheduled to be completed by mid-2017.
