ADMA-OPCO and HHI ink USD 1.94bn field development contract offshore UAE

Hyundai Heavy Industries has inked a USD 1.94bn deal with Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) for the second package of the Nasr Full Field Development Project

The facilities will increase the daily oil production capacity of the offshore field to 65,000 barrels

HHI will undertake engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning work for the super complex.

The work will include the design and construction of a gas treatment platform, a separation platform, and an accommodation platform

HHI will also be responsible for laying 144-kilometre subsea power and 55-kilometre infield cables, and modifying an existing manifold tower and two wellhead towers in the field.

The Nasr oilfield is 131-kilometres north-west of Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Scheduled to be completed within the first half of 2019, the facilities will increase the daily oil production capacity of the offshore field to 65,000 barrels from the current 22,000 barrels.
