Singapore company awarded ROV contracts

20th September 2013

IKM Subsea Singapore has been awarded two contracts to re-mobilise two ROV projects

The two contracts are for two re-mobilization projects in Indonesia from an unnamed company

The Singapore branch of IKM Subsea, the ROV and trencher manufacturer, have been given two new contracts from a company for re-mobilization projects in Indonesia.

At present, the company has been working on board the barge of the client, who has not been named, since June 2013 on a project in Indonesia.

With that project completed, the new contract involves re-mobilizing the system onto a different barge. IKM Subsea will be providing its in-house built Merlin WR200 Workclass ROV with all required personnel and toolings.

A second contract has been awarded for the mobilization of another work class ROV on board a DP2 vessel supporting the barge with the same systems being implemented.

“We are glad to have secured these 2 contracts which proves that IKM Subsea is being recognized as an experienced and established ROV operator in the region”

“The current project will be ongoing till end of October,” said Mahesh Govindan, IKM Subsea Singapore’s general manager
