Shell enlists Petra for topside maintenance services on the Gumusut-Kakap platform off Malaysia

Sabah Shell Petroleum Company has awarded Petra Resources (a subsidiary of Petra Energy) a contract for the provision of topside maintenance execution services at the Gumusut-Kakap Floating Production System via its Letter of Award dated 18 November 2014.

There is no firm contract value stated in the Letter of Award as the contract is on a ‘call-out’ basis whereby work orders will be issued at the discretion of the client based on a standard schedule of rates during the enforcement of the contract.

The duration of the contract is for 14 months effective from 1 April 2015 and shall expire 31 May 2016.
