RN-Uvatneftegaz, a subsidiary of Rosneft, has produced its 50 millionth ton of oil since the start of Uvat Project implementation in 2004
During the next five years it is planned to commission 11 fields of the Uvat Project, first of them being Protozanovskoye, which will be kicked off next year

In 10 years of enterprise performance the annual oil output increased almost by 10 times – from 1.2 million tons in 2004 to about 10 million tons, expected by the end of the current year.

In 2007 production at Urnenskoye and Ust-Tegusskoye fields started – these are the largest fields discovered by geologists in the Uvat District. Today total volume of recoverable reserves of these fields is estimated to be over 135 million tons.

Totally, 24 new fields were discovered in 2004-2014 as part of the Uvat project, and four of them – North-Keumskoye, Kirilkinskoye, Rezvovskoye and Tavricheskoye – were discovered in the last two years. This year the list of assets was enlarged with two licence blocks; Yugansky-11 and Yugansky-12, oil reserves of which are estimated to 26 million tons.

During the next five years it is planned to commission 11 fields of the Uvat Project, first of them being Protozanovskoye, which will be kicked off next year.

Output growth in Uvat is provided by construction of key infrastructure objects, including a 264-kilometre-long trunk pipeline from the Ust-Tegusskoye field to oil export station of the Kalchinskoye field, the first stage of central production facility.

In order to rationally use associated gas and provide oil production objects with own generation, this September a gas-turbine power station with capacity of 60 MVt was put into operation.

RN-Uvatneftegaz applies advanced technologies when developing new fields in the area of oil and gas production, as well as in environmental and industrial safety.

RN-Uvatneftegaz is a subsidiary of Rosneft. The Uvat Project is a cluster of 17 licensed blocks with about 338 million tons recoverable reserves of oil and condensate. 12 blocks are situated at the south of the Tyumen Region, five in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Territory of Ugra.

Total size of the project is 26.6 square kilometres.

In 2013 RN-Uvatneftegaz produced 8.8 million tons of oil.
