PETEX 2014 on track to exceed all expectations

02nd July 2014

The PESGB and PETEX 2014 Organising Committee have announced that with four months still to go until the event, PETEX 2014 is exceeding all expectations

PETEX 2014 on track to exceed all expectations
The Plenary Session has been replaced this year by the PETEX forum, an arena to discuss the technical issues around whether hydraulic fracturing is technically viable in the UK

The move to a larger venue has been key in including more exhibition floor space as well as many opportunities for networking in the purpose-built arena at Excel.

The committee has had its largest ever response to calls for papers, with hundreds of high quality presentations being received.  The Technical Committee has said that the timetable has nearly been finalised and will be released soon.

The keynotes will also be announced at time of launch.

The Plenary Session has been replaced this year by the PETEX forum, an arena to discuss the technical issues around whether hydraulic fracturing is technically viable in the UK or not.  This session will be interactive, and questions can be submitted in advance.

Early bird registration closes on 31 August, so register early at www.petex.info.

With the move to a larger venue, PETEX has already sold more exhibition floor space than in previous years, and still has a little space remaining.  In response to demand it has also created further options for sponsorship; contact the PESGB office for more details.

The Organising Committee has said that they are looking forward to welcoming guests to PETEX 2014, 18-20 November, Excel London.
