OGDCL strikes oil in Pakistan

Pakistan’s Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) has discovered oil from its onshore exploratory well, Palli Deep-1, located in the Sindh Province in Pakistan

Significant Reserves of oil have been found at the well in the Lower Goru Sand formation which produced 1,095 Barrels of oil per day at 32/64" choke size, according to OGDCL

The well was delineated, drilled and tested using OGDCL's in house expertise. It was drilled down to a depth of 4,050 metres. The company says that the discovery will add significantly to the oil reserves of the company.
