The Group’s Offshore Support Services arm, EMAS Marine, has been awarded several contracts in Africa and Asia, with an aggregate value of more than USD 55m. Under these contracts, EMAS Marine will be deploying one anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) and two platform supply vessels (PSV) in Africa, and another five AHTS and one PSV in Asia.

“I am delighted that our core divisions are strengthening their presence in all our target markets,” said Lionel Lee, Ezra CEO and managing director.

“We had identified Africa as a key market to expand, even as we maintain our leadership position in the Asia-Pacific region. These wins by the division reinforces our strategy and I believe that EMAS Marine will grow from strength to strength as the year progresses under its new leadership.”

With the latest wins, its order book stands at more than USD 2bn of contracts, with a majority expected to be executed over the next 12 to 18 months.
