Dolphin gets go-ahead for Kara Sea arctic shoot despite sanctions

Dolphin has received confirmation from the Export Control Division of the Norwegian Foreign Department that the recently announced contract in the Kara Sea is not subject to the current trade restrictive measures against Russia

Many in the oil and gas industry fear that sanctions placed on Russian firms will affect their ability to operate within the country

Many in the oil and gas industry fear that sanctions placed on Russian firms will affect their ability to operate within the country.

Arctic plays are particularly vulnerable as Western powers clamp down on advanced technologies transfer.
