Shell to sell package of UK North Sea assets to Chrysaor

Shell has agreed to sell a package of UK North Sea assets to Chrysaor for a total of up to $3.8bn, including an initial consideration of $3.0bn and a payment of up to $600m between 2018-2021 subject to commodity price, with potential further payments of up to $180m for future discoveries.

BP has announced it has agreed to sell part of its interests in the Magnus oil field and some associated pipeline infrastructure in the UK northern North Sea and in the Sullom Voe Terminal (SVT) on Shetland to EnQuest.

BP agrees deal with Kosmos Energy

BP has signed agreements with Kosmos Energy to acquire a 62 per cent working interest, including operator, of Kosmos’ exploration blocks in Mauritania and a 32.49 per cent effective working interest in Kosmos’ Senegal exploration blocks.
