Vankorneft, a subsidiary of Rosneft, has started construction of pressure oil pipeline to connect Suzun and Vankor oil fields as part of the Suzun field development programme - total length of the oil pipeline will be 101 kilometres
In the winter period 2014-2015 a considerable work-scope is planned to drive piles along the oil pipeline axis, as well as to place, assemble and weld its linear part

The project implementation became possible due to a mixture of technical and managerial arrangements. For instance, over 1,600 two-pipe sections were welded, and the process of pile foundations installation started.

Contracting building organisations are involved in construction right-of-way centrelining and providing assembling works to start on time.

In the winter period 2014-2015 a considerable work-scope is planned to drive piles along the oil pipeline axis, as well as to place, assemble and weld its linear part.

The commissioning of the pipeline will be synchronised with other objects of the Suzun field first stage: forecast fond of exploitation and injection wells, oil treatment plant with capacity of 5.2 million tons per year, first-stage infield pipelines with total length of about 30 kilometres, roads and other infrastructure units.

Development of the Suzun field as well as Tagul and Lodochnoye fields, together with other licensed blocks forming the Vankor cluster is implemented with the maximum usage of already built and commissioned infrastructure of the Vankor cluster.

Oil of the Suzun field will be transported via the infield oil pipeline to the central production facility at the Vankor production site, then to the Vankor-Purpe oil pipeline, and after to the larger oil pipeline system.

Vankorneft has been developing the Vankor oil and gas condensate field in the Krasnoyarsk Territory since August 2009, in November the company was chosen as a development operator of Suzun, Tagul and Lodochnoye oil fields.

At the moment, Vankor cluster comprises 23 licensed blocks, situated in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and partially in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region.

According to geologic data form January 2014, reserves of oil and condensate of the Suzun field total over 56 million tons, and gas reserves of 35.3 billion cubic metres.
