Petrobras completes Brazil’s largest semi-sub platform

The P-55 is expected produce 180,000 barrels of oil and treat 4 million cubic meters of gas per day.
Petrobas announced Tuesday that construction of its P-55 platform has been completed.
The P-55, built by industrial conglomerate Queiroz Galvão, is the largest semi-submersible platform built in Brazil and one of the biggest platforms of its kind in the world.
The deepwater rig is expected produce 180,000 barrels of oil and treat 4 million cubic meters of gas per day.
After stability tests, the company says P-55 will head to the Roncador field in the Campos Basin, where it will be connected to 17 wells.
