Pertamina awards EPC contract for Gas Capacity Increase to Bonatti

Pertamina Algeria EP has awarded to Bonatti the contract worth 85 Million Euro for the provision of engineering, procurement & construction of Gas Capacity Increase Project for the MLN field, which will upgrade the existing facilities to treat the future expected gas flow and enhance the oil production.

Bonatti scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, construction and installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and assistance to start-up of the Gas Capacity Increase Project (GCIP) in MLN (Menzel Lejmat Nord) Field as part of Phase-4 Development Project.

The MLN field is located in the north of Block 405a approximately 240 km South East of Hassi Messaoud (Algeria) in a remote desert location.

The aim of the Project GCIP is the development and upgrading of the existing facility for future expected gas treatment and oil production at 2020 by installation of the new 2 x 37.5 MMscfd compressors, a dehydration train and their related systems.

Being located in an operational field, Bonatti will perform the activities in particularly challenging conditions such as brownfield and live plant, avoiding disturbances to the ongoing production.

The contract signing ceremony took place on June 4 in Algiers at the presence of the CEO of Sonatrach Mr. Abdelmoumen Ould Kaddour, the Director Exploration and Production of Pertamina International EP Mr. Djoko N. Imanhardjo, the General Director of Talisman/Repsol Algeria Mr. Didier Wloszczowski and the Director of the Association Division in Sonatrach Mr. Farid Djettou.
